If you are looking for an authentic family-run restaurant, this is the place to go! ‘Chocos fritos’ were delicious and portions are huge. My boyfriend is Portuguese and he said it was one of the best chocos and freshest one he ate! We ordered the chocos and they came with a big plate of salad and another of fries.
The family was super friendly and kind. They even let us try part of their dinner, which was delicious!
If you are looking for a local experience and delicious food, this is the place!
We will go back as we would like to try more of their dishes!Simple restaurant, but with great food. The fried squid is the main atraction and rightfully so. Perfectly fried and crispy with almost no oil. 1 dose is enough for 2 people. With bread, olives, water and 2 coffees, we only paid 26€. Great value for money.

Great, family-run restaurant. It's the best one I had dinner at during my 10-day stay in Sesimbra. The food was fresh and lovely, verde house wine delicious . The owners and the waiters were really kind, helpful with great sense of humour. The owner speaks English. The atmosphere of the restaurant is unusual. You can watch cooks, who are singing and dancing, prepare your meal. I strongly recommend that place.

Restaurante familiar com ambiente caseiro e acolhedor. Peixe grelhado sempre fresco é referência assim como o choco frito, para este, Setúbal tem a fama mas aqui temos o proveito. Caldeirada divinal! Peca por não ter multibanco mas em alternativa há pagamento por MBWAY, para os nacionais resolve.

Family restaurant with a homey and welcoming atmosphere. Always fresh grilled fish is a reference, as is the fried cuttlefish. Setúbal is famous for this, but here we have the advantage. A divine fish stew! It lacks an ATM, but MBWAY is an alternative, which works for locals.

Estuvimos en Sesimbra y cenamos las tres noches aquí. Trato familiar y pescado fresco de primera calidad. Sardinas, dorada y lubina acompañadas de una fuente gigante de patatas. Gracias Telmo y su familia. Nos habéis tratado como en casa.

We arrived at the restaurant at 4:00 PM, which was quite late, but we were warmly welcomed and served, which deserves a big thank you. The restaurant's atmosphere is welcoming and simple, making you feel right at home. The food: We had the opportunity to enjoy the freshest fish I've ever tasted, freshly prepared. We opted for four sea bass cooked over charcoal, which were simply divine. Side dishes were included (salad and potatoes). We had 1 liter of wine, two beers, dessert, and coffee. All in all, for €130, it represents truly exceptional value.
